This new house is situated on a steeply sloping site, with eastern aspect and views over Middle Harbour.

In an effort to give privacy for the inhabitants and the neighbours on either side, the main living areas and bedrooms have been moved further down the site, allowing panoramic views and level garden access. The garage at street level incorporates the covered entrance and lift. Particular attention was given to roof detailing, to allow north light inside as well as affording the neighbours an attractive view and a non reflective finish in pre weathered titanium zinc. The building structure consists of concrete floors with rendered masonry walls, some clad in zinc, requiring minimal maintenance and built to last. The architecture of light and airy flowing spaces, at the water’s edge, is both dynamic, yet also invites contemplation
