Palm Beach 2
The original house was only eight years old, but poor construction and materials meant total reconstruction surgery was inevitable.
Keen to remain faithful to the essence of the original design, the new brief called for an injection of flair and a contemporary edge whilst producing a high quality, low maintenance building. The house is conceived as a series of pavilions with interconnecting decks, taking advantage of spectacular views over Palm Beach and beyond. A new internal ramp leads through a soaring glazed atrium space to the upper deck which is very private and also accessible from the master suite.
The graphite zinc wall cladding and sun bleached teak decks are a timeless natural blend with the native bush surrounds.
